Don't ever let anyone tell you "it's too late” or “it’s not the right time.”
Opening a store in early 2020 on the eve of COVID could have been a disaster. But I had a feeling Chatham was the right home for Red Mannequin, and I’m thrilled I was right. We’ve gone from our little triangular shop in the Clock Tower, to purchasing the loveliest building on Main Street (or one of them) and setting up shop in three rooms on the ground floor.
For the owner of a clothing store my philosophy of "less is more" may seem unusual, but I believe in quality over quantity. A cluttered closet can slow us down, so why not make room for the pieces that we know we love and bring us happiness? Imagine a closet where just about everything is special, timeless, flattering, and, when you wear it, feels like you!
